Providence

Providence

“The word providence and the phrase the Godhood of God have fallen into disuse among many Christians today. In fact, some have likely never heard them. Those that have may only think of them as relics from bygone ages of Christianity that now lie in the dust heaps of history—outdated language, linguistic artifacts, irrelevant verbal expressions. Nevertheless, those words were once as commonly used among Christians as grace andgospel are today. Why are they now conspicuously absent? I believe a case could be made that many modern churches, seminaries, and professing Christians have forgotten God. The infallible Word of God speaks often and solemnly about those who “forget God”—just read Israel’s history. Demonic days and deadly times abound when a nation, a church, a professing Christian forgets the God of the Bible.”

To add to our current sermon series on Romans 8, I would like to offer the latest issue of the Grace Broadcaster. This issue is dedicated to the doctrine of Providence. You can download the issue for free at this link:Providence
