Old Testament Survey, Part 1: Overview & Genesis

Old Testament Survey, Part 1: Overview & Genesis

The Old Testament Survey is a series of nine courses covering all the books of the Old Testament in the order in which they were written. This first course begins with an introduction to the importance of the Old Testament as a whole for believers today. Its inspiration, quotations in the New Testament, and predictive prophecy establish it as the very Word of God. Its instructions and example are useful in every aspect of life. Then we study the book of Genesis: first, the beauty of Creation and God’s open fellowship with man. This was the initial manifestation of the Kingdom of God: God’s people, in God’s place, under God’s rule. We see how Adam fell into sin, the consequences of this, and God’s judgment upon an evil world through the Flood. In the second part of Genesis, we study how God chose one man and his descendants from all the people on earth. We see what faith is, how God taught Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to have faith, and what it meant for them and each of us to walk with God by faith. Download your Free Copy here: Survey
